Arsenal receive double injury boost ahead of Premier League clash against Fulham

Jurrien Timber is expecte to be available for selection when Arsenal return to Premier League action against Fulham next week.

But the Gunners are sweating on the fitness of Riccardo Calafiori. The defender was force off playing for Italy against Germany last week with a knee issue cause when he appeare to slip whole changing direction.

Calafiori misse the second leg, returning to Arsenal for further treatment.

Riccardo Calafiori, who underwent tests this morning for the sprain-contusion trauma to his left knee sustaine during the match against Germany, has deeme unavailable for the return match schedule for Sunday and will return to his home club,’ a statement said.  

Calafiori will face two to three weeks on the sidelines.

That timeline could rule him out of games against Fulham and Everton in the Premier League and the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid.
